Terms and conditions

The plain-English rules for using got1. By using the site or paying for an unlock, you agree to them.

Last updated 26 October 2026

The service

got1 lets you compare energy (gas & electricity), mobile SIM cards & home broadband, and homes to rent by entering a UK postcode. Searching is free and shows 10 results per list. The top 5 results are hidden until you sign in and pay to unlock them.

Prices and payment

  • Mobile & broadband: £3
  • Energy: £6
  • Renting: £9

All prices include VAT. Each payment is a one-off charge that unlocks one postcode search in one area for 24 hours. After that you'll need to pay again to see the top results. There is no subscription and we never charge you automatically. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Your right to cancel

An unlock is digital content that we give you straight away. By paying, you ask us to unlock your results immediately and accept that you lose the usual 14-day right to cancel once the results are shown. If an unlock doesn't work, email support@got1.co.uk and we'll fix it or refund you.

About the results

Results are a guide to help you compare. Prices, availability and listings are set by providers and landlords and can change at any time, and some prices and listings shown are examples. Always check the details with the provider or landlord before you sign up. Any contract you take out is between you and them, not got1.

Your account

Keep your password safe and don't share your account. You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the site.

Fair use

Don't copy, scrape or resell our results, or try to get around the unlock or interfere with the site.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the unlock concerned. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
